The time has arrived; Workday has gone live! Going forward, all of your timesheets will be processed through Workday, our new payroll interface. During this transition we want to ensure everyone is equipped to handle these new processes and be paid appropriately. Therefore, we have come up with a few helpful tips to enable a smooth change.
Time tracking is now live, therefore, you must clock-in and out through Workday when you start and exit your job.
- If you haven’t already done so, log in to the Workday website using your Bucknell login credentials or from myBucknell.
- Download the Workday app and log in with your Bucknell username and password.
- Click on the “Enter Time” widget on either the desktop or mobile platform, and begin to track your time live. If you’re using a time clock, there are instructions online for how to clock in and how to clock in if you have multiple jobs.
- If you are having trouble, don’t panic. The Workday training site has job aids to answer all of your questions.
During this time of transition, it’s important you communicate openly with your manager. If you used ConPortal previously, then that may or may not change with the implementation of Workday.
For any immediate assistance needed this upcoming week, please check out the “7’s On The Go” Tech-Desk Table in the LC Mall (Monday-Friday, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.), where you can ask Workday questions and get help logging your hours. If you need assistance with installing the app on your mobile device, there will be a help desk at these times and locations:
- Monday, April 2, 12:30-2:30 p.m., Academic West first-floor lobby
- Monday, April 2, 5-7 p.m. at the Tech Desk in the library
- Tuesday, April 3, 10 a.m.-12 p.m., Graham Building lobby
- Wednesday, April 4, 9:30-11 a.m., Walls Lounge (immediately following University Staff Forum)
