Time clocks will be installed at various points around campus for hourly employees to clock in and out via card swipes instead of signing into a Workday client on their PC or mobile device. These locations are:
- Geiger Building – Café
- Geiger Garage/Shops – Hallway, locker room, garage area near entrance
- Public Safety – Lobby
- Roberts – Kitchen area off Main Lobby
- Dana Engineering – Hall in basement outside Facilities break room
- Library –Behind the Tech Desk facing the courtyard outside of Room 102A
- South Apartments –Commons building in the hallway 117 next to the rear entrance to the building and room 120
- PPM Production Center
- Coleman – Outside room 151-4 (International Commons)
- Weis Center – Backstage area by phone in hall at side entrance
- Klarc – Lobby by main entrance
- Rooke Science – Center lobby area near light on right facing ELC
- ELC – Outside 259 custodial closet
- Smith – Breakroom
- Larison – Outside room 133 in hall
- Golf Course Shop – Breakroom/kitchen
- Mod 22 – Laundry room
The two primary inputs to the decision regarding all time clock locations were:
- Locations evaluated on critical staff needs / workflow.
- Ability and ease of L&IT to wire the clocks directly to our network. The clocks communicate in real time with the Workday platform and require reliable network connectivity.
